What This Site Is, and How the Matching Works

We match semiconductor equipment part drawings with shops that already run vacuum-grade material. We do not own machines and take no commission on your order.

A matching service for one part class, run by people who have sourced and quoted machined parts.

We are not a machine shop. We match your drawing with up to 3 shops that already run vacuum-grade parts.

How a shop gets on our list

Public criteria. No exceptions made quietly.

  • Production experienceAlready machines vacuum-grade aluminum or stainless in production.
  • Controlled handlingHas a clean handling area for finished parts.
  • Finish and paperworkCan hold Ra 0.4 um and supply material certs.
  • Response timeReplies within 48 hours.
  • ConfidentialitySigns an NDA when asked.

How your drawing is handled

  1. Preview first

Shops see a preview with part family, material, size envelope, quantity, tolerance and deadline. No name, no company, no files.

  2. You agree, then it moves

Your drawing only reaches shops in the shortlist after you agree. Nothing goes out on our own judgment alone.

  3. NDA if you ask for one

If you ask for an NDA, it is signed before anything moves, and the files stay with us until then.

How we make money

  • Buyers pay nothingSending an RFQ and receiving quotes costs you nothing, ever.
  • Shops pay for the previewMachine shops pay for the RFQ preview they choose to buy. It is their decision, not a subscription.
  • No hidden marginWe take no cut of the part price, on the first order or the repeat.

How the guides are written

  • No invented numbersA figure in a guide comes from a standard or a real range, never a made-up statistic.
  • Specs credited to the standardTechnical specs are credited to ASTM, ISO or the relevant standard, not claimed as our own capability.
  • No paid placementVendors are not paid to be named in a guide.
  • Corrections happenWhen something in a guide is wrong, it gets corrected.
